"Health is something you only notice when it's missing." But how do you communicate something so fundamental yet invisible?
#
When LaVita approached us, they were looking for something different than the tenth explainer. We knew immediately we wanted to move beyond the typical problem/solution framework and instead explore how LaVita serves as a companion throughout life's journey, supporting the immune system and overall wellbeing.
#
After weeks of collaborative ideation, we developed a narrative following our protagonist Eva and her family through different life stages, enriched by an organic visual metaphor illustrating how LaVita nourishes the billions of cells in our bodies.

During the concept phase, we crafted Eva's world and established a visual style designed to stand out in LaVita's competitive media landscape. What made this project exceptional was our client's commitment to craft and their deep understanding that details matter. This partnership allowed us to build every aspect of this world with care and intention.
#
Working on this project from initial concept through final delivery was a genuine pleasure for our entire team. And that dedication is evident in the finished work. Because ultimately, the craft and love we bring to animation isn't so different from health itself: ideally, you only notice when it's missing.

What we cared about most was that this miniature world rewarded attention. We created something with enough going on that a viewer catching it for the twentieth time between programs might still notice something they hadn't before. That kind of density takes a while to build, and it only works when the client is willing to be in the weeds with you. The ZDF team was.

In the middle of winter, right before christmas
we sought refuge in creating a digital spring
that wasnt supposed to feel digital at all.

Half the fun was in reintroducing analog imperfections to our perfect digital images.

The first seasonal animation was beloved by the audience, so we extended it for a second.

By keeping the structure that the audience loved the first time, we made it easy for them to reconnect.
